SolarEast Spearheads Pakistan’s Energy Transition with High-Level BESS Technical Forum and 4MWh Project Win
SUKKUR & KARACHI, PAKISTAN — SolarEast has reached a defining milestone in its international expansion by successfully hosting a specialized Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technical Exchange Forum in Pakistan. The event culminated in the official signing of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract for a 4MWh large-scale energy storage project in Sukkur, Sindh.
This achievement solidifies SolarEast’s position as a premier provider of factory-direct, high-performance energy solutions in the South Asian market.

High-Level Industry Dialogue
The forum was graced by the Chairman of the Pakistan Renewable Energy Association, who delivered a powerful keynote address. Highlighting the country's roadmap toward a 60% renewable energy mix by 2030, the Chairman affirmed that large-scale battery storage is the "missing link" for Pakistan's industrial stability.
"The introduction of advanced liquid-cooled storage technology is critical for our national grid's evolution. Solareast’s commitment to bringing this expertise to Pakistan is a significant step toward our energy independence," stated the Chairman during his address.
The 4MWh Industrial BESS EPC Project
The centerpiece of the event was the formal execution of the 4MWh BESS EPC contract. This project, located in the industrial hub of Sukkur, represents one of the most significant behind-the-meter storage installations in the region.

Technical Exchange: "One Vertical and One Horizontal"
During the Technical Exchange Meeting, SolarEast’s engineering experts presented the company’s strategic "One Vertical and One Horizontal" development framework to an audience of over 40 industry leaders, consultants, and developers.

Strategic Importance of the Pakistan Market
Pakistan’s industrial sector faces unique challenges, including frequent grid outages and rising electricity costs. SolarEast’s 4MWh project serves as a flagship reference, demonstrating how factory-direct LFP technology can deliver bankable energy economics.
By establishing a local ecosystem of partners and providing direct technical support, Solareast is addressing the urgent need for "round-the-clock" renewable energy in Pakistan’s textile, agro-processing, and manufacturing sectors.
