Luoyang, China – January 15 — SolarEast, providing C&I systems, hosted a delegation from CORN Group South Korea, at its Luoyang Manufacturing Base.

SolarEast and South Korea's CORN Group reach cooperation agreement
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Xu Xinjian, Chairman of SolarEast Group, who led the guests on a detailed tour of SolarEast’s battery module production lines, energy storage container assembly workshops, and system testing facilities. The visit demonstrated SolarEast’s integrated manufacturing capabilities covering cell integration, BESS system design, and large-scale energy storage container production.
South Korea is experiencing rapid growth in C&I systems driven by rising electricity costs, renewable energy integration, and grid stability requirements. Through this strategic partnership, SolarEast and CORN Group will jointly promote Korea C&I energy storage solutions, focusing on:
Industrial and commercial battery energy storage projects
Large-capacity BESS container deployment
Localized cooperation with Korean energy developers and EPC partners
Long-term supply of high-reliability lithium battery energy storage systems
By combining SolarEast’s advanced manufacturing strength with CORN’s deep understanding of the Korean power and energy market, both parties aim to accelerate the adoption of safe, efficient, and cost-effective energy storage solutions in Korea.
During the visit, SolarEast presented its flagship 5MWh System, designed for industrial parks, renewable energy plants, grid-side applications, and large commercial facilities.
The system adopts lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery technology, offering high thermal stability, long cycle life, and superior safety performance—key requirements for Korean industrial and commercial energy storage projects.
· Total Energy Capacity: 5.015 MWh (5015.96 kWh)
· Battery Type: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄), 3.2V / 314Ah
· Battery Configuration: 1P416S × 12
· Rated Power (0.5P): 2500 kW
· Battery Voltage Range: 1123.2 V – 1497.6 V
This 5MWh system supports peak shaving, load shifting, renewable energy integration, and grid stabilization, making it an ideal solution for Korean C&I and projects.
The strategic cooperation with CORN Group further reinforces SolarEast’s position with strong capabilities in solutions.
Looking ahead, SolarEast will continue to expand its presence in key overseas markets, including South Korea, by delivering reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems that support the global energy transition.
