Project Background
As Poland accelerates its energy transition toward the 2026 European Green Deal milestones, a specialized small-scale manufacturing plant faced rising electricity tariffs and grid instability. The client required a robust, future-proof solar energy storage battery solution to maximize their onsite solar PV utilization and ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
The Solution: SolarEast 2MWh Distributed ESS
To address these challenges, we deployed 20 units of 100kWh air-cooled LiFePO4 lithium battery cabinets, creating a decentralized yet centrally managed 2MWh Energy Storage System (BESS). Each unit is powered by high-density lifepo4 battery cells, known for their thermal stability and long cycle life.
Results and Financial Impact
Rapid ROI: Based on current energy price trends and optimized self-consumption, the project has an estimated Return on Investment (ROI) of only 4–5 years.
Energy Independence: Increased solar self-consumption rate from 40% to over 90% using our integrated solar energy storage battery system.
Cost Optimization: Expected to reduce annual energy expenditure by 35% through the mitigation of peak demand charges.
Carbon Decarbonization: Offset approximately 1,200 tons of CO2 emissions annually, aligning with the client’s 2026 Net-Zero Roadmap.
Operational Resilience: Seamless transition to backup mode within milliseconds, protecting sensitive manufacturing machinery from voltage drops.
Conclusion
Connected to the grid on September 13, 2025, this 2MWh project stands as a flagship for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) storage in Eastern Europe. By combining SolarEast’s reliable LiFePO4 lithium battery hardware with 2026-standard smart software, the client has transformed their facility into a modern, resilient, and sustainable "Factory of the Future."
