The client aimed to achieve energy independence and cost savings by leveraging solar power with a robust solution. The system's operational strategy is designed around maximizing PV utilization and providing reliable backup power:
Daytime Operation: Solar PV generates electricity for the load. Excess solar energy is stored in the cabinets. If PV generation is insufficient, the provides supplemental power. Should both PV fail to meet the demand, the grid (utility power) provides the final supplement.
Crucial Technical Feature: Custom Integration
In this project, the client procured their own PV modules and inverters (PCS). We provided the industrial energy storage cabinet units, focusing on seamless integration:
Our cabinets are supplied without an integrated PCS, as the client used their selected Deye and Solis inverters as the Power Conversion System.
Advanced Features: Liquid Cooling Technology
Enhanced Safety and Longevity: By utilizing a liquid cooling energy storage system (available upon request for enhanced thermal management), we ensure the cells maintain an optimal operating temperature. This significantly extends the battery lifespan and enhances safety, especially crucial for outdoor commercial battery storage installations in environments with fluctuating temperatures.
